Weekend 28th – 31st August
Mid-week 24th – 28th August
If you love to be in the Welsh countryside, surrounded by rolling hills, rivers, streams, nature and peace and quiet this is the right yoga retreat for you.
August is the most stunning time to be in the Brecon Beacons, with lush green landscape and flowers in full bloom. Enjoy guided hikes in the fells and on the mountain tops, paddleboard down the Wye or visit Hay on Wye. Be as active or relaxed as you like.
We are excited to say we are back this August bank holiday for our hiking and yoga retreats in the Brecon Beacons.
Stay in a family-owned multi-property estate that dates back to 1176, it was originally a farm serving the local monastery. Since then, it has had stunning renovations to create a beautiful retreat space.
With the closest town being Brecon, you are in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Take time out of your busy schedule to really relax, and restore body and mind in this healing space.
Of course, get your hiking boots ready to enjoy guided hikes with qualified guides. Try horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking or paddleboarding down the River Wye.
Want to fully relax? You can curl up in front of the open fire if it’s cold or relax in the sun if warm, or enjoy a massage from our talented team. Truly, you will feel rested and restored, ready for the spring and summer month ahead!
With up to 4 hours of yoga a day, delicious vegan food from one of our fabulous chefs and gorgeous accommodation you will feel cared for throughout.
Accommodation
Located close to the literacy town of Hay-On-Wye, the property was once part of the farm serving a Cistercian monastery founded in 1176. Steeped in history the individual barns and buildings have been lovingly restored and updated to create a stunning home from home space.
Beautiful gardens create a multitude of private oases to relax in spread across the 4 individual buildings, each with their very own unique style and character, that we inhabit during our stay.
We have a choice of 6 single rooms with double beds and an ensuite bathroom, 3 single rooms with double beds with shared bathroom with 1 other room, a twin room with its own bathroom and a twin room with a shared bathroom with one other room.
The Wheat Silo is a quirky accommodation for two people sharing a double bed and it has its own kitchen, bathroom and living space and stunning views of the Brecon Beacons.
The yoga studio is a beautiful, long barn conversion full of natural light and double doors that open up into the inner courtyard and the valleys beyond.

Teacher
Goldie Fiddian-Green
Goldie has a deep passion for hosting meaningful experiences and creating spaces where people can come together to nurture their well-being. Growing up on a farm in the countryside, she was always surrounded by nature, which shaped her deep connection to the earth.
Goldie’s journey with yoga led her to Rishikesh, India, where she immersed herself in traditional Ashtanga and Hatha practices while traveling and exploring. Goldie’s teaching style continues to evolve, blending the strength of Ashtanga with the fluidity of vinyasa flow to create a dynamic yet grounding practice. In her classes, she guides students through pranayama breathing techniques, meditation, and asana flow, always ensuring time for deep relaxation—allowing the body and mind to truly absorb the practice.
Alongside yoga, Goldie’s love for herbal medicine sparked a deeper exploration into plant science, food, and nutrition, naturally leading her to cultivate her own vegetables and embrace a more sustainable way of living. Goldie spent years working outdoors, learning the rhythms of the land, and was fortunate to work at Heckfield Home Farm’s biodynamic market garden, where she helped grow a diverse range of fruits and vegetables in harmony with the moon’s cycles.
For the past three years, Goldie has been immersed in the retreat world—curating and hosting experiences that invite people to slow down, reconnect with nature, and find balance. Now, in partnership with Adventure Yogi, Goldie is excited to continue this journey, bringing together movement, nourishment, and creativity in a way that feels both grounding and expansive. Whether on the mat, in the garden, or gathered in community, Goldie’s hope is to offer spaces where people feel truly connected—to themselves, to each other, and to the natural world.
Cuisine
All of our retreat chefs are highly experienced and passionate about their craft. We have always been a vegan/vegetarian company! Expect delicious and creative brunch, lunch, and 2-course evening meal. Each meal will be balanced to keep you energised all day.
Our chef is Dannie Nardi. Chef Dani’s journey with food began in the simplest of kitchens, learning from her grandmother in Brazil, where meals were created with love, resourcefulness, and fresh produce gathered from the allotment.
Born of both Brazilian and Italian heritage, she grew up surrounded by traditions that valued togetherness at the table, flavours drawn from the land, and the joy of cooking for others. Since 2015, Dani has carried these early lessons into her professional life, shaping a culinary path that has taken her from bustling diners and cosy bistros to artisanal cafés, festivals, and private events across the United Kingdom.
Her craft found new depth during her time at Ottolenghi, where she embraced modern Middle Eastern cuisine and discovered its rich tapestry of textures, aromas, and spices.
This experience, combined with her Brazilian warmth and Mediterranean roots, has become the heart of her cooking style: colourful, nourishing, and alive with flavour. Dani brings the same care whether preparing vegan, vegetarian, or meat-based dishes, often infusing them with smoky grilled notes and the soulful touch of her cultural background.
Beyond cooking, she has shared her knowledge by mentoring apprentice chefs, leading kitchen teams, and creating vibrant food experiences from private gatherings to larger celebrations.
For Dani, food is far more than sustenance; it is a bridge between people, places, and presence of mind. Since beginning her Vipassana practice in January 2025, mindfulness has deepened the way she lives and cooks, with every meal offered as an act of connection and intention.
When not in the kitchen, Dani can be found exploring The Peak District and Dartmoor, riding her motorcycle, or enjoying music and the quiet rituals of sauna time. Her way of life mirrors her food: grounded, adventurous, and full of heart, inviting others to slow down, savour the moment, and reconnect with what truly nourishes.
