Prince hall Country House is a Georgian Period manor house situated in the heart of Dartmoor National Park, the house has a contemporary twist and is full of sunlight, slate flag stones and historic features, sleeping up to 20 across 9 large en-suite bedrooms and 11 bathrooms you can soak yourself in rural bliss with acres of gardens which are surrounded by Dartmoors beauty and wildlife which you can immerse yourself in.
Yoga Spaces
We have a converted coaching barn available with wooden floors and is double glazed for additional hire for larger group classes – outdoor options are vast with lawns with breath taking views and wooded areas for meditation circles and quite times all within the private grounds of Prince Hall.
Accommodation options and bathrooms
9 large en suite bedrooms - the ground floor has one room with a Super king sleigh bed with a walk in shower. The first floor has frou super king en suite rooms (which can be twinned if required), also on the first floor is a Super king four poster en suite room.
On the top floor there is a large en suite room with two double beds and there are two en suite rooms with Super king beds (which can also be twinned if required).
Amenities
- Farmhouse style Kitchen - Newly refurbished Farmhouse style Kitchen with Gas Range stove, dishwasher, washing machine, large American fridge freezer, air-fryer, microwave, toaster, kettle all crockery and glass-wear you need along side cutlery and utensils. We do also provide basic cleaning items.
- Games Room - pool table, darts, table tennis & foosball, cards
- Infrared Sauna - on the first floor which is private for use while you stay for your own relaxation time and has a walk in shower in the room.
- Hot Tub - for up to 6 adults and is private for your use while you stay in the courtyard with moorland views (and views of the wonderful night sky from dust)
- BBQ area with seating - there is large BBQ area for all your outside catering needs located outside of the house close to the kitchen and has a large bench style seating area to maximise dining space so you can eat while enjoying the spectacular views.
- Fire Pitt - to enjoy the cooler evenings by with your favourite tipple.
- Private Drive & Gardens away (rural - no road noise just wildlife / no street lighting)

- Dog friendly - we welcome up to 4 dogs for free and charge £30 per stay after this, however we do ask that you do not leave your pets unattended.

By Car
On the A38 from the North, at Ashburton take the second slip road ("Peartree" not "Linhay" onto the B3352 (which automatically becomes the B3357) signposted to Princetown and Two Bridges. Keep on this road until after approximately 10 miles you will see the hotel signs and the tree-lined driveway on your left.
On the A38 from the South take the Yelverton turning and continue through Yelverton and Princetown. At Two Bridges turn right onto the B3357 towards Ashburton and Dartmeet and after one mile you will see the hotel signs and the tree-lined driveway on your right.
From the A30 west of Exeter, take the B3212 to Moretonhampstead, continue through Postbridge to the T-junction with the B3357 at Two Bridges. Turn left. Travel approximately one mile, where you will see the hotel signs and the tree-lined driveway on your right.
From Tavistock take the B3357 to Princetown. Continue along the road, bypassing Princetown, and pass through Two Bridges. Continue for approximately one mile further where you will see the Country House signs and the tree-lined driveway on your right.
